ThreadMention ("we", "us") operates threadmention.com and the ThreadMention application. This policy explains what we collect, who processes it on our behalf, and the choices you have.
ThreadMention is operated by Bogdan Soldatenkov, who is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact the controller at hello@threadmention.com.
We use magic-link sign-in. We do not ask for or store passwords. To log you in, we send a one-time link to your email address.
We keep your email address, for sign-in and account communication. We keep your brand context: the brand name, variations, positioning, and any "never say" notes you enter, so drafts match your voice. For each thread you analyze, we keep the Reddit thread URL and title and the AI-generated draft we produce. We do not store the full bodies or comments of the Reddit threads we analyze. The scraped thread content is used only to generate your drafts and is not retained.
Our primary database and authentication run on Supabase, hosted in London, United Kingdom (region eu-west-2). Some services we rely on to deliver the product are based in the United States. Where data is transferred to the US, it is covered by standard data protection agreements (standard contractual clauses) with each provider.
We share data with a small set of providers only to operate the service:
Payment processing is provided by PayHot. When you buy credits, you enter your card details directly on PayHot's payment page. We share transaction-related data with PayHot (such as the order reference, amount, and currency) as required to process and verify your payment. Anything you enter on PayHot's payment page, including your card details, is collected by PayHot and processed under its own privacy and data processing terms.
We do not store full payment card numbers or card security codes. We keep payment records (such as the order reference, pack, amount, currency, date, payment status, and any refund or dispute) for accounting, fraud prevention, customer support, refunds, payment disputes, and managing the credits on your account.
We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) to understand general traffic on our website. It does not set cookies and does not identify you personally. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, so no cookie-consent banner is required.
Our fonts are self-hosted. Your browser does not contact third-party font providers when you visit.
You can delete your account and its associated data at any time from your account page, which removes your stored data (your right to erasure). We may keep payment records after you delete your account where we need them for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, or an open refund or dispute.
