These terms apply when you use threadmention.com and the ThreadMention application at app.threadmention.com (together, "ThreadMention" or "the service"). ThreadMention is operated by Bogdan Soldatenkov ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use ThreadMention.
You give ThreadMention a Reddit thread URL and some context about your brand. ThreadMention reads the public thread, tells you whether it is a good place for your brand to take part (a good, weak, or skip verdict), and produces AI-generated draft starting points and talking points. You decide what, if anything, to post.
ThreadMention does not post to Reddit for you. It has no access to your Reddit account and never publishes anything on your behalf. Anything that appears on Reddit is posted by you, manually.
You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email address. You are responsible for keeping access to that email address secure and for all activity on your account. Please give us an email address you control and keep it up to date. Tell us straight away at hello@threadmention.com if you think someone else has used your account.
ThreadMention uses prepaid credits. There is no subscription and no monthly fee. You buy a credit pack once, and credits are used as you analyze threads.
Prices are shown in euros (EUR) before you buy. Payments are processed by our payment provider, PayHot. Refunds, duplicate charges, and payment disputes are covered by our Payment and Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Verdicts, drafts, and talking points are generated by AI. They can be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or unsuitable for a particular community. They are a starting point, not finished content, and they are not legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice.
You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and fact-checking anything ThreadMention produces before you publish it anywhere, and for everything you post. When you post on Reddit, you must follow Reddit's rules, each subreddit's rules, and any disclosure rules that apply to you (for example, being open about your connection to a brand you mention).
You agree not to use ThreadMention to:
We work to keep ThreadMention running smoothly, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors. The service depends on third parties, including Reddit and AI providers, and some threads may not be accessible. We may change, add, or remove features over time. If ThreadMention is discontinued, we will handle remaining purchased credits in accordance with applicable law and any notice provided at that time.
ThreadMention, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to us. You keep the rights to the brand information you enter. Subject to these terms, you may use the drafts and other output ThreadMention produces for you however you like. Because output is AI-generated, similar output may be produced for other users, and we cannot promise it is unique. Reddit content belongs to its authors and to Reddit.
You can stop using ThreadMention and delete your account at any time from your account page. Deleting your account may result in the loss of unused credits, except where a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law. If you want to ask for a refund under our Payment and Refund Policy, please contact us before deleting your account.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is involved in fraud or abuse, or puts the service or other users at risk. Where reasonable, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
If a payment is disputed, we may pause further purchases while we look into it. If a payment is reversed, refunded, or disputed, we may remove or temporarily restrict the credits that came from that payment where appropriate. A payment dispute on its own does not lead to the suspension of your whole account; we take broader action only where these terms otherwise allow it, for example in cases of fraud or abuse.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ThreadMention is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost opportunities, damage to reputation, or the consequences of content you choose to publish (including action taken against your Reddit account).
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or removes rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Changes do not affect credits you have already bought: they keep the expiry they had when you bought them.
ThreadMention is operated by Bogdan Soldatenkov. For any question about these terms, email hello@threadmention.com.
